MAPQUO LLC · LEGAL
Privacy Policy
Effective: September 1, 2026 · Last updated: October 10, 2026
Mapquo LLC, a Michigan limited liability company, provides the Mapquo website, homeowner measurement and preliminary quote tools, and contractor software services. This policy explains our information practices when you visit mapquo.com, use a contractor-specific quote page, submit a project, or use a contractor account.
1. Information we collect
When homeowners request estimates, we collect information they enter, such as name, email address, phone number, property address, requested work, project condition, reported issues, additional comments, and submitted photographs.
Our measurement tools collect homeowner-plotted coordinates, driveway or pavement outlines, approximate surface area, related timestamps, and calculated estimates. Contractor accounts may provide business contacts, service areas, prices, minimum job amounts, pricing settings, account information, and subscription records.
When you browse our website, our systems and service providers may receive IP address, device and browser information, referring pages, access times, and technical logs. We may use cookies or comparable technologies for site functions and, where enabled, analytics.
2. How we use information
- Operate the website, mapping and measurement features, and quote request process.
- Calculate and communicate preliminary estimates using contractor-configured pricing.
- Deliver homeowner quote requests, photographs, project answers, and measurements to the selected contractor.
- Send transactional emails, provide support, administer contractor accounts, and handle subscriptions.
- Maintain security, investigate abuse, fix errors, improve the service, and satisfy legal obligations.
- Send marketing communications only where legally permitted and consistent with applicable preferences.
3. Information shared with contractors
When you submit a request through a contractor-specific page, Mapquo provides the selected independent contractor with the information needed to review and respond to your project, which may include your contact information, property address, uploaded photographs, answers, measurements, and preliminary estimate. Contractors may use those leads only to respond to the requested quote, discuss the related project, prepare proposals, and manage any resulting customer relationship, subject to applicable law. They are not authorized by Mapquo to resell leads, transfer them to unrelated marketers, or use them for unrelated promotional campaigns. Contractors are independent businesses responsible for their own subsequent handling of information and any applicable privacy notices. Mapquo is not the construction contractor.
4. Service providers and other disclosures
We use technology partners for hosting, storage, maps, communication, and payment processing. These may include Netlify, Supabase, Google Maps Platform, Stripe (where payments are enabled), and email delivery providers. These parties may process information necessary to provide their respective services.
We may also share information when necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, protect security or rights, or in a legitimate merger, acquisition, or transfer of business assets. We do not sell homeowner lead lists to unrelated data brokers. We may use aggregated or appropriately de-identified operational statistics to understand measurements, quote volumes, system performance, and service usage. We take reasonable steps to avoid identifying individual homeowners in such reporting.
5. Google Maps and location data
Our measurement experience uses Google Maps Platform features, and saved user-drawn coordinates and diagram information may be included in contractor-facing quote records. Use of those features is subject to the applicable Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service at https://maps.google.com/help/terms_maps/ and Google Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy. Google may independently process mapping-related information. Property representations and measurements may be inaccurate or outdated.
6. Marketing choices and consent
Mapquo may offer separate, optional sign-ups for newsletters, product updates, and promotional messages. Where law requires consent, we will obtain it before sending marketing. Contractor follow-up concerning the specific project requested by a homeowner is different from unrelated marketing. Mapquo does not treat quote submission as agreement to unrelated promotional outreach.
7. Payments
Contractor subscription payments may be handled by Stripe or another payment processor. We may receive subscription status, billing identifiers, and transaction details but do not intend to store full card numbers in our application database. Payment providers independently handle payment information under their policies.
8. Retention and security
Homeowner quote records, including project details, plotted measurements, and submitted photographs, are generally retained without a fixed expiration date unless deletion is requested and we determine deletion is appropriate under applicable law. We may retain information where needed for legitimate business operations, legal compliance, recordkeeping, security, dispute resolution, or to honor contractor obligations. A request does not guarantee immediate deletion, and contractors that received a lead may keep independent records; deletion from active systems may not immediately remove information from backups.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no network or storage system can be guaranteed entirely secure.
9. Your privacy choices
To request access, correction, or deletion of information, or to ask about our privacy practices, email support@mapquo.com. Requests will be handled in accordance with applicable law, subject to reasonable verification and permitted exceptions. If a contractor independently holds your information, you may also need to contact that contractor.
With a separate, legally appropriate opt-in where required, Mapquo may email newsletters, software announcements, promotions, or other Mapquo marketing. You can withdraw marketing permission using an unsubscribe link or by contacting support@mapquo.com. Submitting a homeowner quote request alone does not enroll you in Mapquo marketing or authorize unrelated promotional texts or automated marketing calls. Necessary quote and service communications may continue.
10. Cookies and analytics
Mapquo and third-party providers may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for website functions, security, and embedded services. The marketing website also loads Calendly scheduling resources, which may process technical and usage information when loaded or used. We have not confirmed that Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or other advertising trackers are currently deployed; if added, we will update this notice and provide consent or opt-out choices where required. You can also restrict cookies through your browser, though doing so may affect functionality.
11. Children and state-specific rights
Our services are intended for adults and business users, not children under 13. We do not knowingly seek information from children under 13. Privacy rights may vary by state and apply depending on relevant legal thresholds and circumstances; we honor rights required by applicable law.
12. Policy changes
We may update this policy as our services or practices change. We will publish the revised policy and provide further notice or seek consent where legally required.
